When should I get senior pictures taken?
SPRING (March-May) Spring is often SO overlooked when in reality it is a great season! You can do spring photos BEFORE your senior year (while you’re a Junior) or you can wait until spring of your senior year and get them done right before graduation! Pros: Get your photos done with early!
Are senior pictures expensive?
Senior portraits are expensive because it’s a once in a lifetime event that requires more work from the photographer than regular school portraits. Normal school photos the children are lined up and spend no more than a few minutes in from of the camera. The pictures are all processed the same with no retouching.

We recommend bringing at least two outfits. Most senior girls change into three or four outfits during their session. Select a wardrobe that can be coordinated together (for example, pants that look good with two or three different shirts, etc.). Watch out for bra straps that might be hanging out.

Before the photo session, you need to find out if the photographer is willing to sell you the CD of all the images or a certain number of images for one price. This is the best way to save money. Gone are the days where you just buy hundreds of senior pictures and hand them out to everyone you know.
