Happy Friday! How was your first week back at work post Christmas? Mine was bloody amazing, despite the dog going nuts and sh@$ting on our bedroom floor, which I had to clean up with my freshly painted nails rendering them unpresentable.
Yep, it was still a good week. I had such an awesome break, and spent hardly any time in the digital space (I scheduled most of my posts online well in advance) so I could properly switch off. All of which left me with a crazy creative surge, and I couldn’t wait to get back to work and get cracking on the many projects I have planned for this year.
Perusing my favourites on Instagram, I realised everyone else was feeling similar too. Fresh stationary, fresh clothes and interiors, fresh intentions. It is definitely the time to forget the previous twelve months and throw ourselves head first into day one.
Speaking of which, I wrote a post (which has turned out to be pretty popular with you guys) about the my intentions for this year. It’s a little meaty, I warn you!
So it’s no surprise I’ve chosen INSPIRATION as my Instagram theme this week. It’s broad, I grant you that but each gallery I’ve been drawn to has that same theme in common, whether it’s home renovations, lifestyle changes, new travel destinations, new babies: inspiration is the glue holding them together.
Enjoy, and as ever – let me know your favourite Instagrammers (and your own handles) in the comments too.
Obsessed with this feed.
The colours, the cosiness and the interiors…….it’s all dreamy AF.
A new discovery for me this week, I’ve been drooling over this gorgeous gallery and accompanying blog too.
Expect beautiful photography and fab writing.
If you don’t follow Holly on Instagram, you definitely should. She’s a professional photographer, so you can expect her feed to be full on on-point, perfectly composed shots.
But it’s so accessible, and I am always lusting after the interiors and delicious white-balance she achieves!
I don’t really know how to categorise Randomly Happy but it’s just got the aesthetic I’m craving right now. Simple, fresh and snuggly.
Does that make sense?
Sarah is a total babe. I e-met her this week on our monthly Twitter #Instachat and I’ve been stalking her gallery ever since.
She has a really similar style to Me & Orla, which is one I am so drawn to….and equally so very different to in my own style!
