What is NexRemote?
NexRemote allows the user to control their Celestron computerized telescope from their personal computer. This software was developed for Celestron’s high-end telescopes that use the NexStar control system, including the NexStar SLT and SE series, Advanced VX, CPC, CGEM, and CGE Pro.
How do I connect to NexRemote?
From the computer device manager, make sure that you can see the port to which the USB adapter is connected. Once the port is identified, select the proper port while in NexRemote. Next, select the proper mount model for your telescope. Once these items have been verified you can now proceed to use NexRemote.
Does CPWI work on Mac?
CPWI is Celestron’s own software that only runs on windows. But most, if not all planetarium programs on the Mac will operate your telescope to point it around once you’ve aligned it with the hand control.
