Whats the difference between S300 and X100?
The difference was an increase in distance of about 5% carry (6i), and a slightly tighter dispersion. I didn’t end up making the switch, preferring to have them build me a new driver which was a much more dramatic difference.

What’s the difference between KBS tours and dynamic golds?
I have Dynamic Golds in one set and KBS Tours hardstepped in another and while the KBS still launch slightly higher, it is a big improvement from KBS straight in. However, overall profiles are still very different, so remember that sometimes a shaft just works (or doesn’t) depending on how you load it.
Do KBS shafts have better dispersion?
For ME, the dynamics offer much better dispersion compared to the KBS. Both are fine shafts, different profiles for sure, and each will produce different feels and results depending on the golfer swinging them. But to make a blanket comment that 1 shaft will have better dispersion is frankly incorrect. More sharing options…
What is the difference between the X100 and the S400?
The S400 are actually heavier than the X100 by a gram, I think. The difference is that the X100’s has a shorter distance from tip to first step, which I assume makes them stiffer at the tip. So, anyway, I’ve tried the S400s in a different set of irons, and I like them (although I’m not sure I’ve got the back for them now….).
