Do I need a mounting plate for RMR?
No base plate is provided with the optic, however, you can order a Trijicon RMR Sealing plate for around $8. If you look at the underside of the RMR, you’ll see a thin rubber gasket inside the edge. There is no included base plate with any RMR I have owned.
