I cannot believe we are at the end of November! How on earth is this possible? I know, time moving forward and all that……but seriously, I cannot believe that we have been back in our flat in London for over three weeks. Whilst we aren’t totally settled yet, we have managed a cheeky DIY project in the form of some reclaimed wood from the local garden centre being transformed into a new coffee table. My quest to transform our flat for free is going well thus far.
This week’s tragic news from Paris gave me some serious time to reflect and like everyone, I counted my blessings. I thought of how privileged I am to have grown up in the UK as well as being able to travel the world. When you travel, you meet so many people from all walks of life and of course, I thought of all of those fleeting moments with travellers who live in Paris, and hoped they were okay.
Given my reflection, this week’s photo of the week comes from my former home, the place that stole my heart: Koh Tao.
When I think of Koh Tao, I think of this view. The almost oppressive row of palm trees bearing down on me, giving me shelter from the blistering sun, and providing the most beautiful backdrop to a morning run. Just watch out for falling coconuts…….
