Travel is what I do for a living now, Beauty is what I used to do for a living and both are my passions.
From a very young age, I have had a passport full of stamps (my first one was aged two!) and an insatiable lust for makeup. I adored playing with my mum’s lipsticks (much to her dismay) and as soon as I hit 12, every penny I had was spent in Boots or Superdrug.
Some of my earliest makeup memories are of the R U silver eyeliner I coveted, Body Shop Banana shampoo, Impulse O2 and Clinique foundations. I pored over beauty sections in magazines and left the rest, and rarely left the house without sneaking an, admittedly terrible, face full of slap on.
Travel was equally always a part of my life, although I didn’t hit the road solo until the grand old age of 24.
Wherever I go, I never compromise on beauty. I may travel with a 30 litre backpack, but in that backpack you will find a treasure trove of beauty goodness.
Guardian, Chanel, Clinique, oh my!
